*Before & Below I-95: Archeological and Historical Discoveries from the
I-95 Girard Avenue Interchange Project*

Celebrate fascinating riverfront findings. A free public event, perfect for
the entire family!

Experience the Philadelphia Riverwards’ history through engaging stories,
video, photos and actual artifacts from archeological digs under I-95.
Learn about Gunner’s Run – the intact canal under Aramingo Avenue and
Native American settlements from 4000 BC that lie just beneath your feet.

At last year’s event many neighbors told us great family stories about
living and working in neighborhoods along the Delaware River. This year
Drexel University Digital Media students will be on hand to record your
memories of life along the Delaware River. The recordings will be used to
start a digital audio archive of life along the Delaware River.

*Join us on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the
Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, 1901 N. Front
Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122. *
