The intern will gain practical experience in - digitisation of the hard copy material, photos, maps, slides, pamphlets, books, exhibitions, reports, video and audio materials and ephemera. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following - input of existing digitised content into source. Metadata generation for the SOURCE material. On completion the intern will have attained skills in
Skills Requirements

A person with a background in library and information skills and/or archives, researcher(s), digitiser(s), metadata generator(s), or persons with an archaeology qualification and or a museum qualification.
Please Note:

This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
