This is a permanent position located in the Reference Branch, History Division, Marine Corps University, Education Command, Training and Education Command, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Quantico, VA. The Branch assists in implementing the mission of the History Division; to make historical experience of the Marine Corps available for practical study and exploitation by operating a historical research and reference branch.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
You must be a US Citizen.
Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance.
Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.
Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
You must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

The incumbent supervises the Marine Corps Lineage and Honors program. Oversees and directs the Marine Corps Commemorative Naming program and Anniversary ALMAR program. Direct the History Division Research and Reference services. Administer the Branch’s historical resources and reference working files. The incumbent supervises five (5) General Schedule employees; plans and schedules subordinate’s work.
