Archeologist / Cultural Resource Specialist for our Headquarters in
Lancaster, New York.
This position will be responsible for providing compliance support to a
variety of public and private clients. Our successful candidate must have
a good understanding of cultural resource management and the NEPA
compliance process.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Section 106 and general NHPA compliance support for a
wide range of private and public clients
- Providing archaeological/cultural resources support for preparation of
environmental permits, documents and reports including writing, drafting,
editing and revising
- Assisting with archaeological aspects of environmental impact
analysis, feasibility and due diligence studies
- Applying knowledge of cultural resource management principles
obtained through field studies including research, data collection,
compilation and evaluation
- Technical support for the Section 106 and NEPA compliance
processes to address cultural resources and historic properties issues

Skill Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Anthropology, Archeology or related
discipline required
- 15+ years of experience including cultural resources management
experience required
- Relevant experience coordinating the Section 106 process with the
NEPA compliance process required
- Experience in environmental consulting, experience in the Eastern
United States, and experience with tribal consultation preferred\Excellent
verbal communication and technical writing and research skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010
- Ability to travel to support business needs
