Local History Office - Local Historian Intern at Ohio Historical Society

The Local Historian is the Ohio Local History Alliance's newsletter. The newsletter is published several times a year through the Local History Office at the Ohio Historical Society. The Local History Office is currently seeking an unpaid intern to assist with the writing and editing of this newsletter. Qualififed canddiates wil possess the following:

     Strong writing and editing abilities
    Pursuing a degree in History, English, Writing, or related field
    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
    Ability to take direction and work independently
    Interest in history, in particularly local and Ohio history
    Able to communicate with a diverse group of people
    Professional communication skills - the intern will be dealing with board members of the Ohio Local History Alliance as well as with various departments at the Ohio Historical Society.
    Creative

The internship requires between 20 and 30 hours a week Monday through Fridays. This is an unpaid position through the Local History Office at the Ohio Historical Society.
