School Bates County Archaeological Field School, Amsterdam, Mo
I participated in this field school
which focused on two sites. One of a farmstead and the other a general store
that had been related to/or directly affected by General Order No. 11 and the
Border Wars. I also worked with a group from AMEC on magnetic resistivity
testing of the homestead site prior to the field school.

I worked with Graduate student Jeff
Eis from the Geosciences Department at the University of Missouri, Kansas City
along with Dr. L. Mark Raab and Jejung Lee, and District Archaeologist for the
Corp of Engineers Timothy Meade doing Ground Penetrating Radar in order to
locate areas of interest for future sampling and excavation of a prehistoric
Native American site.
