archaeology with the public during Archaeology Month. This is our chance to educate the public about the cultural resources in their community.

 Host a public lecture
 Share historic finds at a senior center
 Hold a stone tool workshop
 Write an “Ask an Archaeologist” column for your local paper
 Give a presentation at a school

Please register your name, county, email address and phone number with the SCA Archaeology Month Committee today. When we receive requests for public outreach in your community, we will contact you. We will be tracking all community outreach, so please let me know when you make a presentation or hold an event during October 2012.

This is a great marketing opportunity for your organization, agency or cultural resources firm!
