I was asked to post this to the site. - Jennifer

The Brenham Heritage Museum is seeking archaeological students and professionals willing to contribute to what will be the largest public archaeological project in the world.

The “What’s In Your Backyard?” project includes sixty sites, largely in one county. Currently, all sites are historical sites, though prehistoric sites are likely to be included in the future. Interns are needed for site work, research, writing, and a multitude of other tasks. The project will be ongoing for a number of years. Interns would be welcome for work on one site or on multiple sites. Work is done on one site at a time, though concurrent work is planned in the future.

Work is based out of Brenham, Texas.
