Opportunity Description:

Archeology/Heritage: Two or three positions are available; dates are negotiable. Assist Forest Service archeologist conducting archeological site surveys; monitor sites, ruins, and historical remains; work with the public; or help in laboratory work, data entry, mapping, and other tasks. A good way to get experience in cultural resource management, data management and computer use, and back country mapping and hiking skills in the spectacular Four Corners region and Wasatch Plateau as well as contributing to the protection of fragile Anasazi and Fremont remains. Forest Service will provide work transportation and equipment; housing may be available. Reimbursement for subsistence is negotiable.
