Archaeology Pay (2012 edition)

DougRM

It is that time of year again, pay in US archaeology. I have run all the numbers and will be putting up the posts over the next couple of days for the different positions. To start out with Field/lab techs- http://dougsarchaeology.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/how-much-archaeologists-make-usa-2012-fieldlab-tech/

Highlights:
good news- average pay is over $14 an hour
bad news- it's an average so most techs make under $14.

Next, Crew Chief- http://dougsarchaeology.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/how-much-archaeologists-make-usa-2012-crew-chief/

Now, Middle management- http://dougsarchaeology.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/how-much-archaeologists-make-usa-2012-project-manager/

Senior positions- http://dougsarchaeology.wordpress.com/2013/01/29/how-much-archaeologists-make-usa-2012-senior-positions/
