Historic Resources Specialist involved the intensive documentation of over 90 historic architectural properties along the Moffat Road rail corridor in northern Gilpin County. The project involved the documentation of rural resources in high mountain communities spanning from Colorado's territorial period (ca. 1859–1876) through to the middle of the twentieth century. In addition, the survey resulted in the determination of two historic districts, namely the proposed Lincoln Hills District, which was the only African-American resort west of the Mississippi under Jim Crow administration. Involved in all aspects of the project, including field documentation, field coordination, background research, drafting of site forms, drafting of CAD site maps, contributing to the report, finalization of the produced documentation, and final quality assurance.
