Alexandria Archaeology Department. The excavation included the time periods of the late 17th Century to the Civil War period. Processed artifacts through cleaning them of debris and cataloging each by type and context from where excavated; daily notes were recorded in field journals for a reflection of the conditions, context and other relevant information.

·     Mohegan Tribe Archaeological Excavation June to July 2007:  Worked alongside members of the Mohegan Tribe in Willimantic, CT, through excavation of a historical house site along a ravine.  Collected soil samples, drew the context of the excavation unit, cataloged excavated artifacts.  We also learned how to work for a tribal government, and how to respect artifacts from a Native American perspective.  We attended tribe events in order to create a context for our findings.
