High School Field School 2014 at Crow Canyon in SW Colorado

Applications being accepted now for 2014: For incoming high school sophomores through graduated seniors (must be 15 years old by program start date): High School Field School at the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center in Cortez, Colorado. Be part of a multiyear research study, the Basketmaker Communities Project: Early Pueblo Society in the Mesa Verde Region. At Crow Canyon's three-week field school, you’ll work alongside our archaeologists, in the field and in the lab—and make a real contribution to our understanding of ancestral Pueblo Indian history. Earn high school or college credit and explore archaeology as a career. One session: June 29–July 19, 2014. Tuition: $4,875 ($4,750 with Crow Canyon membership). Some scholarships available for Field School and also for one-week archaeology camps for middle school and high school students. Application deadline: April 18, 2014. View program details. Questions?
