Description

This position would monitor important rock art, caves and historic sites on the Ely Ranger District (as part of the Nevada Site Steward Association). We would ask the volunteer to monitor the assigned site a minimum of three times over a 9 month period, and to provide a written report of each visit. Nevada residents are preferred, and families are welcome.

We are looking for monitors for four important sites on our district. We are not able to reimburse travel costs at this time, however training in basic archaeology techniques would be provided through the Nevada Site Steward Program.
