Minimum Requirements:    •    Bachelor's degree in History, Archaeology or related field
•    Minimum six years of experience identifying archaeological artifacts from eighteenth and nineteenth century historic sites
•    Master's degree in archaeology/ anthropology or other archaeology-related discipline can substitute for up to two years of work experience
•    Proficient in cataloging in NPS computer databases ie: Interior Collections Management System and National Constitution Center Site Information System
•    Will possess the requisite skills and experience to identify and catalog historic artifacts within client established production rates. 
•    Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to travel occasionally
•    Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Job Description:    The Infrastructure & Environment of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Material Specialist for immediate employment in the Burlington, New Jersey office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Anthropology/Archaeology, specific to Cultural Resource Management field and laboratory projects. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects ranging from Phase I to Phase III archaeological investigations.
Incumbent responsibilities:
•    Identify and catalog historic artifacts within client established production rates
•    Provide associated services required to support the production of the artifact inventory
•    Work independently at client site locations
•    Accurately enter metric and descriptive data following generally recognized professional standards
•    Organize and prepare artifact collections for long term curation
•    Responsible for Quality Control of project tasks and products
•    This position reports directly to the Laboratory Managers
