Gave presentations and coordinated group activities for incoming freshman and transfer students, as well as coordinated living and travel arrangements for visiting summer groups.

05/05 - 09/05 - Handled cargo and shipping packages.  Packing, sealing, moving and storing materials, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, managing cycling count and inventory.
05/06 - 09/06 - Sales Associate / Visitor’s Guide, St Petersburg Pier, St Petersburg, FL
Worked as summer tour guide and sales vendor at a notable tourist destination. Gave presentations for travel groups about local marine life as well as provided general knowledge for participants on cruise voyages.
05/08 - 06/13 - Realtor’s Assistant / Property Management, Hilliard Realty, Lowell, MA
Gave tours and conducted interviews with prospective tenants; showed and maintained the grounds for a number of large properties.

Volunteering
Spring/Sum 02 - Tutor, Cemanahuac Institute, Cuernavaca, Mexico - 
Working with Mexican youth and high school students who came to the institution to learn English as a secondary language.

Tour Guide at an archaeological museum / maintained artifacts for a large collection of Native American and American artifacts.  Also assisted with tours to visiting groups of students in the form of movie presentations.

Summers 03/4/5 - Tour Guide, Museum of Science, Boston, MA
Tour guide at Boston Museum of Science, assisted in educational programs in the archaeological wing of the museum, also worked with children groups.

Winters 08/09 - Event Coordinator, Lowell Folk Festival, Lowell MA
Responsible for customer relations, attending to visitors needs and setup and breakdown of performance stage as well as answering questions behind front desk.

Expertise
Freelance / Online writer - Daily and weekly entries ranging from social commentary, short stories (fiction and non-fiction), articles, book, product, film and tech reviews.  Expertise in History writing as well as analysis.

Proficient in secondary language, Spanish; Moderate fluency.  Speaking, reading, writing.

Travel: Two Semesters abroad (~9 months) living in Cuernavaca, Buenavista and Oaxaca Mexico; 
Field Study Program through Amerispan - Visited Teotihuacan and Cuicuiclo, Taxco, Chalcatzingo, Grutas of Cacahuamilpa, the pyramid of Kukulcan of Chitzen Itza and Uxmal Tepotzlan, Xochicalco, Teopanzolco.
Spent summer traveling parts of Western Europe including United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany.

Computer Skills
Highly proficient in Macintosh and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word, Office Excel, Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, major web browsers.  Hardware and programming experience.
