Immediate need for Cultural Resource Monitor, Inyo County CA

Aspen Environmental Group (Sacramento Office) seeks a temporary cultural resources field monitor to monitor construction near Lone Pine, Inyo County, CA, for 4 day, 10 hour rotations beginning January 19th. Position includes lodging, per diem, and paid drive time between Sacramento and Lone Pine. Hourly pay begins at $18/hour.

Minimum requirements include: BA or BS in Anthropology, Archaeology, or other closely related field and experience performing construction monitoring for cultural resources in California.

Candidate must be detail oriented and comfortable in a construction setting. Field monitor is responsible for interacting with construction staff and for documenting all activities on site, as well as any cultural materials encountered.
