We have an exciting opportunity available for a Field Technician in the Wailuku area. The Field Technician will be conducting archaeological monitoring for construction sites. Qualified candidates for this position must have a bachelor's degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field.

Full-time
Location:
Wailuku
Maui: Various
Pay:
$15.00 Hourly
Additional Responsibilities:
Monitor construction activities during earth moving portions of a project.
Examine newly exposed soils for significant cultural resources.
Record and document daily activities.
Photograph any earth moving activities of the project.
Identify any artifacts or significant archaeological features.
Stop further construction work if closer examination is required.
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field.
Able to work long hours and in inclement weather as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs to carry equipment and supplies.
Attention to detail required.
