The National Register Coordinator position will be filled through the Cultural Resources Specialist classification, Architectural History option. This is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama State Historic Preservation Office in Montgomery, Alabama.

Duties
This position will manage all aspects of the National Register program in Alabama including substantive review of all nominations; oversee program administration; and provide assistance and advice for other state and federal historic preservation programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architectural History, Architecture, Historic Preservation, Art History, Preservation Architecture, American Studies, or a closely related field AND two years of professional experience working in a federal or state agency or other historic preservation program conducting architectural surveys or registering national or state historic properties. OR Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Architectural History, Architecture, Historic Preservation, Art History, Preservation Architecture, American Studies, or a closely related field
