This position is located in the Division of Resources Management & Science, Anthropology Branch, and supports the anthropology program. These positions are full-time temporary positions not-to-exceed 1039 hours (about 6 months) in a service year. Positions may be terminated sooner or extended depending on management needs.

The duties of the GS-05 Cultural Anthropological Technician include, but are not limited to: conducting basic field, academic, and archival research to support the park cultural anthropology program; conducting data entry and documentation for anthropological resources; maintaining and managing databases and information libraries for culturally sensitive resources; and providing organizational support to Cultural Anthropology and American Indian Consultation programs.
