UConn Prehistoric and Battefield Field Schools - Application is Still Open!


Spots are still available in the University of Connecticut's two archaeology field schools this summer!  Both of the 6-week, 6-credit field schools will include training in New England Native and Colonial history, archaeological survey and excavation techniques, laboratory methods, conservation procedures, and artifact cataloging and analysis. Students will have a unique opportunity to work on a collaborative research project alongside tribal members, archaeologists, historians, and ecologists.  Both programs run from May 18th through to June 26th.

The cost ($411 per credit hour / $2466 for the whole six-week program + $75 lab fee) and person to contact for applications (Dr. Kevin McBride) is the same for both field schools.
