As the Archeologist in this position you will be responsible for:
-- Providing support to the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) cultural resources programs at one or more installations within the geographical area through contracts/services/product oversight and technical support;
-- Evaluating the condition of cultural resources in order to integrate cultural resources with military mission requirements;
-- Developing criteria and standards to assess and forecast the impact of operations on cultural resources in order to minimize, mitigate or eliminate impacts of Air Force activities on those resources;
-- Providing consultation and advisory services in support of archeological administrative issues; and
-- Communicating critical issues to other members of the IST and Regional Support Team (RST) staff, serviced installations, and superiors.
