Enercon Services, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is hiring experienced technicians and crew leaders for a survey project that is anticipated to go through the end of September. The crews are working six 10 hr days with per diem (have to submit receipts) for the entire week. Job Responsibilities/Duties

The ENERCON office in Tulsa, Oklahoma has an immediate opening for part-time archaeological field technicians and crew leaders for their talent pool which works primarily in Oklahoma and adjacent states. The successful candidates will:

-Participate in cultural resources survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring projects.

-Record data through standardized forms, notes, photographs, and scaled drawings.

-Use GPS units including Trimbles to document field work.

-Conduct background research prior to field work.

-Contribute to technical reports and other deliverables.

-Conduct field and office work with a focus on safe and sustainable practices.
Job Requirements (education, skills, certifications, licenses)

-Applicant must have a minimum of a BA/BS in Anthropology/Archaeology or related field from a US accredited college or university. Non-degreed applicants with 3+ years of experience and excellent cultural resource references will be considered.

-Applicant should have 6 months demonstrated experience conducting the job responsibilities and duties described above.

-Position requires travel, and ability to spend extended periods in the field, working long days, hiking rough terrain in rugged conditions in hot or cold environments, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

-Applicant must have a valid driver's license, the ability to pass a drug test, and a clean driving record.

-Applicant must have a positive attitude, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and ability to use technology.

-Applicant must have the demonstrated ability to work within a team setting to achieve client and team goals and the ability to take direction.

-Preference will be given to applicants local to Oklahoma and adjacent states.
