Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Archaeology at Ohio University

Ohio University’s Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Anthropology in archaeology. The successful candidate will have research and teaching specializations in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Midwest/Eastern North America, settlement/landscape archaeology, and/or cultural resource management. The successful candidate will be expected to teach upper‐level courses in courses such as North American Prehistory, GIS, and their areas of expertise, as well as Introduction to World Archaeology. Anthropology faculty at Ohio University currently teach 2 courses per semester. We seek a candidate with a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.
