Colonial Williamsburg 2016 Field School in Historical Archaeology

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in collaboration with the College of William & Mary will offer two sessions of a five-week (6 credit) field school in historical archaeology between June and August 2015 (ANTH 225/425).  Participants will receive intensive hands-on training in archaeological excavation, field recording, and artifact processing and will be introduced to archaeology's specialties, including archaeolgoical conservation, public archaeology, architectural history and zooarchaeology through lectures and required reading.
