salaried employee or tech? New rules apply to you!

If you are any type of salaried employee or field archaeologist, the Department of Labor has a new law in your favor. If you are making less than $47,476 a year, you are entitled to time and half pay until you reach that limit. This law will go into effect for everyone on December 16, 2016 and will apply even if you have the title of manager or any other that was previously used to get around the overtime law. Your employer is now legally bound to pay you for the overtime that you work.

I know some firms are already planning on fighting this. I have no idea how they hope to succeed in that, but I've seen emails from CEOs about "geting the lawyers" involved.

Frankly, any CRM company that tries to fight this should be considered anti-worker and anti-employee, and should be avoided at all costs.
