Ms. Lovvorn has formal education and training in archaeological theory and methods.  College coursework includes World Prehistory, Cultural Anthropology, Geology, and Applications in GIS.  In addition to attending an archaeology field school and volunteering, Ms. Lovvorn has expanded her professional skill set to include a familiarity of endemic State and Federally Threatened or Endangered species by attending agency-recognized workshops and assisting in small mammal trapping.

  •        Work with Modoc National Forest Service Archaeologists to conduct archaeological surface surveys for potential prehistoric and historic sites
  •       Complete site and feature mapping using GPS, photography, and sketching
