Principal investigator and project manager on cultural resources projects in the western and northeastern U.S, Puerto Rico, and Guam; lead the development of automated site recording and reporting systems, and provided training for HDR offices nationwide.

 

 

 

Notable Accomplishments:

 

·         Developed Nationwide Object-relational Model for Archaeological Documents (NOMAD), an automated site recording and reporting system that integrates Apple iPad, Cloud-based technology, and Microsoft Office. As of December 31, 2015, the system had recorded of over 2,000 archaeological and architectural sites in six states.

 

December 2003 – January 2008:

 

                Principal Investigator/Program Manager, Geo-Marine, Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada/Golden, Colorado

Responsible for technical and financial operation of a branch office, including project development, research designs, revenue targets, personnel management, client relations, permits, and quality control; principal investigator for archaeological inventories and test excavations in Arizona, Nevada, California, and Guam.

 

Notable Accomplishments:

 

·         Refined, compiled, and distributed Mobile Archaeological Recording Kit (MARK) 1.0, a Windows Mobile site recording system that was used by Geo-Marine’s Les Vegas, Nevada; Plano, Texas; and El Paso, Texas offices.

Notable Accomplishments:

               

·         Developed a fully staffed consulting firm that provided competitive wages and benefits to employees and achieved seven years of continuous financial growth between 1992 and 1999;

 

·         Conducted the region’s first “paperless” inventories and excavations using prototyped original software on mobile Windows CE devices;

 

·         Successfully executed over 75 major cultural resources contracts.

·         Designed and implemented, at the request of PHRI’s physical anthropology lab director, an Excel 3.5 macro that generated probabilities of burial gender based on variable combinations of measurements of available teeth.
