Field Techs for Cemetery Project – Mississippi

The Center for Archaeological Research at the University of Mississippi is hiring field technicians for the excavation of an historic cemetery near Clinton, Mississippi.  The project will continue until September 5.  Primary duties include conducting archaeological excavations and recording information.  Applicants are expected to be able to works outdoors for 40 hours per week in Mississippi during July through September and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads.  Pay is $12/hour with $41 per diem plus hotel reimbursement.  You can apply for the job (Research Aide in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology) at: https://jobs.olemiss.edu/postings/9850.  If you have any questions, please contact Tony Boudreaux at tboud@olemiss.edu.
