Head Trainee Supervisor and Student, Achill Archaeology Field School, Achill Island, Ireland                 07/2014-8/2014 & 05/2016-08/2016

Received extensive training in supervising students in the process of establishing two different dig sites on the Island. Managed a trench alone with little supervision from Director. Filled out contexts sheets along with writing a stratigraphy report. Cleaned, catalogued, and took pictures of any artefacts and received instruction on the identification of different ceramics as well as contributed to the ceramic report for a site. Extensive time spent planning and teaching others how to plan a trench, taking levels, and photographing a site. Digitalized plan and section drawings in AutoCAD, not only for the sites dug at during time there, but also drew drawings from past years. In addition made them publishable through Photoshop. Took over teaching the students on how to draw in AutoCAD and instructed students how to navigate through ArcGIS. Created a museum quality display for the field school.
