Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI), a multidisciplinary cultural resources consulting firm, has several temporary, full-time, hourly positions available for archaeological field technicians for an ongoing trenching and wet screening project in Los Angeles, CA.  Qualified candidates should possess, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field and have completed an accredited archaeological field school.  Candidates must also have a minimum of 1–2 years of field experience and also have good organizational skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and execute new tasks.  Candidates with prior wet screening experience will be viewed favorably.

The rate of pay for these positions is $15.00 per hour.   Food allowance is offered at a rate of $50.00 per day (receipts reimbursable) and the company will provide double occupancy lodging during the work week.  Field work is anticipated to last three weeks.
