Archaeological Crew Chief(s) - SE U.S.

Archaeological Fieldwork Position
LG2Environmental Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking an Archaeological Crew Chief (or Crew Chiefs) for multiple projects in the upcoming year. These include Phase I and Phase II surveys in North Carolina, Mississippi, and Georgia.
Duties will include fieldwork assignments including survey, site recordation, site testing, and data recovery excavation, as well as conducting record searches, preparing cultural resources site forms and contributing technical writing for reports.
The qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related field is required (Master’s degree preferred). Other qualifications include:
·         Minimum five years of Phase I and Phase II field experience
·         Minimum two years of Crew Chief experience
·         Experience with prehistoric and historic archaeology in the aforementioned areas
·         Experience with Trimble and Flint GPS units preferred
·         Prior experience of leading small crews
·         Experience driving on unimproved roads
·         Must be able to work in potentially adverse conditions
·         Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past five years
·         Must be able to pass drug test
·         Be eligible to work in the U.S.
Per diem and lodging is included along with competitive pay based upon qualifications and experience. This job listing is for a temporary position, but may expand to full-time status based upon workload.
