ARCHAEOLOGY
FOR THE NEW DIGITAL ERA
Archaeological Analytics is a newly formed entity bringing
archaeological analysis to the digital age. We specialize in digitally
preservation to help archaeologists organize, archive and share artifact data.
In addition to our services, we are working to build the largest digital type
collection for general artifact analyses.
COLLABORATE
WITH US
Our internship program is designed to collaborate with
people of different academic perspectives. We are looking for
undergraduates/graduates majoring in Anthropology, Archaeology, History, or
Decorative Arts with an interest in studying material culture. Applicant must
have a strong background in research, the ability to work independently and be
comfortable using digital platforms such as cloud sharing apps and web
management tools. Those who successfully complete the program will be given
authorship for their contributions.
PROGRAM
DETAILS
The majority of your time will be spent at the New York
Public Library, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at 476 Fifth
Avenue (the corner of 42nd St and Fifth Ave). On Wednesdays, we will meet to
discuss our progress as a group. Meetings will take place for approximately one
hour at a local WeWork location in Midtown Manhattan.
The program will begin the week of February 5th and end the
week of April 24th. Students must be available to do research for 6 to 8 hours,
two days a week, between Monday and Friday during library hours
(10am-6pm). Of the two required days, one day will include a one hour progress
meeting.

Invited applicants must be available for an interview on Wednesday,
January11th or Wednesday, January 18th.
Accepted applicants must be available for an all-day training
session on Saturday, February 3rd, location yet determined.
