SE Phase I, II, and III field work starting Monday.

We are currently looking to fill field technician positions on Phase I, II, and III projects. Qualifications for these positions are a bachelor’s degree in archaeology/anthropology or a closely related field, and an archaeology methods field school. Previous experience working on phase I, II, and III CRM projects is preferred, as is experience working in the southeast. Applicants should be familiar with basic archaeological methods, including shovel testing, identification of artifacts typical of the southeast, and filling out forms, and maintaining a field notebook with detailed field notes. We pay competitive wages based on experience. Per Diem is $51.00/day no receipts needed. We also pay for lodging on work days. Applicants should be able to work in extreme heat, harsh terrain, and must be able to carry items weighing 50 lbs.
