Archaeological Adventure in Blanc-Sablon offers a complete archaeological experience where you can take part in excavations at the Blanc-Sablon National Historic Site of Canada, with evidence of human occupation for more than 8,000 years. Under the supervision of archaeologists, explore the exceptional beauty of this site located between the Brador Hills and the St. Lawrence River, where you can watch whales, seals and icebergs during the summer. By your discoveries, you will also help us protect and learn more about this unique archaeological site.

The site excavated in july 2017 shows evidence of some of the earliest Native American - European contact, just after the arrival of John Cabot in Newfoundland in 1497.
