Paleoethnobotany in CRM

We are conducting a survey exploring paleoethnobotanical sample size within contract archaeology. Paleoethnobotany has the potential to answer important questions about seasonality, past climates, and changes in resource exploitation through time. However, our personal experiences as both paleoethnobotany students and CRM practitioners have shown us that paleoethnobotany is not frequently incorporated in CRM.
The survey is very brief and will only take about 5 minutes to complete. Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary and all responses are collected anonymously. This survey is compatible with both computers/laptops and smart phones.
We plan to discuss our results at the Northwest Anthropological Conference (NWAC) in Spokane, WA in April 2017. This is a regional conference often attended by both academic and contract archaeologists. We are also interested in presenting this data at other conferences, both regional and national, in the future.
For anyone interested in attending our talk at the NWAC, it will be on Friday, April 14 at 11:40 AM in the Comstock room.
Please feel free to forward to other resource managers, private or academic paleoethnobotanists, or any other archaeologists who may be interested.
