Field Archaeologists For Phase I Surveys in the Southeast

GEOServices LLC is accepting resumes for upcoming Phase I Archaeological surveys in Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri. The positions are on a project-by-project basis. The pay for projects in Mississippi and Missouri range from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. The pay for projects in Arkansas range from $12-$15 per hour. Hotel and per diem are provided for each project (s). 

Preferred candidates will have a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology and will have completed an archaeological field school.  Experience with  Phase I surveys in Arkansas, Mississippi, and/or Missouri is a plus. Projects will involve the excavation of shovel test pits in challenging terrains that may include low,wet swampy areas as well as steep, mountainous areas.
