Burns & McDonnell is looking for field technicians and crew chiefs for a survey in Texas.

The ideal field technician candidate will have a BA in Archaeology or a closely-related field, will have completed a field school, and have a year or more of field experience.

The ideal crew chief candidate will have a BA (or MA) in Archaeology or a closely-related field, will have completed a field school, have 2 or more years of field experience including supervising crews, and be familiar with GPS and other documentation procedures.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are located in Texas or adjacent states.

Survey will begin in early September and may continue through November.

Field technicians on this project are working long days and 6-day weeks, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half. Single occupancy hotels and meal allowances are paid for seven day weeks.
