Circa~ is a leading local provider of cultural resources services in the fields of Archaeology, Architectural History, and Historical Research.  We currently have immediate openings for temporary, full-time Archaeological Technicians to join our team for multiple archaeological survey and excavation projects located primarily in Virginia.  These projects are across variable terrain and involve shovel testing, test unit excavation, feature excavation, and site mapping and documentation.  These positions could become permanent full-time positions for the right candidates.

Minimum qualifications include:

•    A Bachelor's degree in Archeology or a closely-related field or at least 12 months of field experience;

•    Willingness to travel;

•    Physical ability to conduct archeological surveys in a variety of settings including urban and rural areas; and

•    Physical ability to walk to and within project sites over a variety of different terrains in all kinds of weather and standing or walking for long periods of time;
