Deschutes National Forest (Oregon) Archaeological Technician Jobs

The Deschutes National Forest will soon begin filling multiple seasonal archaeological field technician positions (job series 0102) for the 2018 field season. Openings are available at the GS-07 level at the Bend-Fort Rock District and at the GS-05 level at the Bend-Fort Rock and Sisters Ranger Districts.These are temporary seasonal positions with a maximum six-month tour schedule (Not To Exceed 1039 hours). Positions are full-time (40 hours/week), typically Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The anticipated start date is mid-May with a flexible end date that depends, in part, on candidate availability. Most tours go through September and may extend into October.

Government housing may be available.
