Ms. Koski has over six years of experience in the field of archaeology, and nearly three years of experience as a field archaeologist, researcher, report writer and faunal analyst specifically in Cultural Resource Management. Her career spans both the academic and Cultural Resource focuses in archaeology, giving her a diverse background in site identification, survey, excavation, and analysis of both historic and prehistoric sites and cultural materials. She has experience working in the field both individually and as part of a team, authored a variety of reports, analyzed and processed numerous historic and prehistoric archaeological collections, and conducted background research at a number of state and county historical societies and libraries throughout Minnesota. Her training in Geographic Information Systems has also provided her with a unique skill set in map use, creation, and interpretation that she has already put to use within the realm of archaeology. Her recent training in the Transylvania Bioarchaeology field school through Durham University has also provided her with the knowledge and skill set required to identify, excavate, clean and conduct a basic analysis of human remains.
