Tempory Field Technicians -- Excavation and Survey -- Tierra Right of Way Services

Tierra Right of Way Services, Ltd. (Tierra), is looking for temporary field technicians for survey and excavation projects, primarily in southern Arizona. These projects will be based out of our Tucson office. Currently, we need several experienced field techs for an ongoing excavation at a major site in the Tucson Basin.

Camping may be required for certain survey projects; however, food per diem will be provided. Pay will be commensurate with applicant’s experience and education.

All field technicians will work under the supervision of a field director or crew chief.

Minimum Qualifications:

         Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, or related field

         Survey and excavation experience in cultural resource management (CRM) in the Southwest

         Ability to cooperate and function as part of a team

         Resourcefulness, motivation, and an organized approach to fieldwork

         Ability to use a GPS unit in the field

         Skills at artifact analysis is an advantage, but not required
