Archaeological Field Technician (Arizona)
Environmental Intelligence, LLC (EI) is seeking 4-5 archaeological field technicians to support a Phase I project near Wickieup, Arizona. Project is expected to last 2 weeks and begin mid-summer. Field Technicians are expected to conduct an intensive pedestrian survey, complete field forms including digital photography and in-field mapping. Applicants should show experience conducting Phase I pedestrian surveys in Arizona. Hourly wage will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience; per diem is included.

Education and Experience:
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or closely related discipline.
•Completion of an archaeological field school or equivalent experience.

•Experience conducting pedestrian survey, including collection of field data, site recording, digital photography, artifact identification, GPS data collection, and mapping.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently, and to work well with others as part of a team.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and ability to use related computer systems and software. 
•Experience with GPS equipment is desired; GIS experience using ArcMap and other ESRI software is a plus.
•Ability to conduct fieldwork for long hours, sometimes in inclement weather, rugged terrain, often at high altitudes, and ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds is required.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation to the project location.
