TEMPORARY ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD TECHNICIANS

ARIZONA/NEW MEXICO/UTAH/NEVADA

Tierra Right of Way Services, Ltd.

 

 

Tierra Right of Way Services, Ltd. (Tierra), is looking for temporary archaeological field technicians for survey projects throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada. These projects will be based out of our Tucson, Albuquerque, and Las Vegas offices. Camping may be required for certain survey projects; however, food per diem will be provided. Pay will be commensurate with applicant’s experience and education. All field technicians will work under the supervision of a field director or crew chief.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

       Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, or related field

       Survey and excavation experience in cultural resource management (CRM) in the Southwest

       Ability to cooperate and function as part of a team

       Resourcefulness, motivation, and an organized approach to fieldwork

       Ability to use a GPS unit in the field

       Skills at artifact analysis is an advantage, but not required
