Lead Archaeologist - Open Position - Redhorse Corporation, Edwards AFB, CA

Redhorse Corporation has an immediate need for an early career Administrative Assistant to support the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The  early career Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative functions to support the Golden Service Center at the Golden Field Office (GFO). The ideal candidate will also perform specialized administrative support tasks of a non-routine and non-repetitive nature.
 
Duties and Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to:
  • At least five (5) years of experience and an Associate’s degree
  • Performing professional level tasks, both formal and informal, requiring independent judgment, initiative, and tact.
  • Drafting and tracking correspondence.
  • Providing conference administrative/travel support to senior managers and team leads, as needed
  • Extensive work with:
    • Microsoft Excel, including creating, formatting, editing, tracking, etc.
    • Microsoft Word, including creating tables, creating fillable forms, write-protect information, formatting, converting a document from PDF into Word, etc.
  • Editing and providing data entry into spreadsheets.
  • Assisting with the development and presentation of Power Point slide shows.
  • Performing timekeeping for the Federal Employees.
  • Supporting the HSPD-12 badging process.
  • Managing conference room setup, including webinars and videoconferences.
  • Answering phones.
  • Collecting/distributing mail.
  • Managing calendars in Outlook.
  • Preparing various reports and making recommendations for actions.
  • Performing project management duties, event planning, and, as assigned, other duties.
Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials:
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience and Associates degree.
  • Experience in MS Office 2010 or better required. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Must be able to obtain DOE badge (public trust).  
  • Must possess a professional attitude and learning skills.
  • Will be required to competently deal with changing requirements.
The work environment for this position requires an individual to be able to:
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to: walk, sit, used hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, talk or hear
  • May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
