Golder Associates is Hiring-Project Archaeologist


Golder has a new opportunity for a Project Archaeologist to join our Central Operations team in a Full-Time  position at ourBismarck, North Dakota office. Reporting to the Group Leader.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Perform and oversee archaeological projects, fieldwork, and regulatory permitting projects in ND. 
  • Produce and review reports.
  • Retrieve and compile data for resource management reports, presentations, exhibits, etc.
  • Review and edit complex technical documents for a full range of various cultural resources projects. 
  • Maintain databases, forms, maps, and files.
  • Interface with clients, regulators, and Golder staff to meet task, schedule, and budget requirements.   
  • Perform data entry related to archeological artifact and project data (e.g., artifact information, catalog records, field notes, site records, etc.) into automated systems, appropriate forms, and archival records. 
  • Act as the main point of contact with external clients in relation to project deliverables, potential problems, and managing client expectations.
  • Provide leadership and independence in scheduling, prioritization, and completion of work tasks for the Bismarck office.
  • Coach and mentor others with respect to their career growth and professional development.
