ARCHAEOLOGY FIELD TECHNICIANS – WYOMING - COLORADO

Western Archaeological Services is seeking qualified archaeological field technicians for our Rock Springs, Wyoming office.  We anticipate hiring approximately 5-8 field technicians for work beginning in late July 2019 on multiple survey and excavation projects located in Wyoming and Colorado.  Minimum requirements include undergraduate course work in archaeology, archaeological fieldwork experience, ability to perform strenuous physical activity under difficult conditions, and basic writing and mapping skills.

 The field technician positions are part-time/seasonal.  The duration of employment will likely be 3-5 months.  Fieldwork locations will be project specific and conducted out of various areas in Wyoming and Colorado.  Hotel accommodations and per diem will be provided. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
