Crew Chief

The Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO) is hiring one Crew Chief for a 12 month period. Benefits (such as medical, dental, etc.) will be available for this position. No lodging or Per Diem will be provided. Work is expected to begin late September to early October.

The Crew Chief will be responsible for supervising 4-6 field technicians during the completion of Phase I shovel testing and metal detecting on the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation. The closest city to this reservation is Okeechobee, FL.

Fieldwork will occur for an eight month period. The final 3-4 months will consist of writing the final report. The Crew Chief will also be responsible for completing GIS geodatabase and paperwork quality control.
