SEARCH has an immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager (Archaeology) to join our Terrestrial Division for multiple archaeological surveys and excavation projects supporting our Transportation Group in Central Florida.

  • Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in cultural resources management encompassing time in field, laboratory, and office.
  • Must be able to meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology.
  • Experience in cultural resource compliance for transportation projects.
  • Experience with supervision of surveys and assessments from contract award to report submittal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cultural resource studies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrated client management skills.
  • Superior technical writing skill set to produce high-quality technical reports and proposals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competency collecting field data using Trimble GPS.
  • A valid driver license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Must have ability to travel.

This position must be based out of SEARCH’s Jacksonville or Orlando office.
