SEARCH has an immediate opening for a full-time Principal Investigator (Archaeology) to join our terrestrial division for multiple archaeological surveys and excavation projects.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or a related field;
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience encompassing time in the field, laboratory, and office;
  • Experience in cultural resource management and the preparation of deliverables for clients;
  • Experience in Geo-archaeology;
  • Experience with supervision of surveys and assessments from contract award to report submission;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cultural resource studies in a timely and cost effective manner;
  • Demonstrated client management skills;
  • Superior technical writing skill set to produce high quality technical reports and to prepare acceptable proposals; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This position can be based out of any of SEARCH’s offices across the United States.
